Protecting Penguins Across Europe

Join us in safeguarding the future of these incredible birds through research, rescue, and education.

About Us

The European Penguin Association (EPA) is a non-profit network of researchers, zoos, aquariums, and volunteers dedicated to penguin conservation. Founded in 2005, we coordinate efforts across 22 European countries to protect penguin species worldwide.

While penguins don't live wild in Europe, we support projects in Antarctica, South Africa, South America, and New Zealand. We also work to improve the welfare of penguins in European zoological institutions and raise public awareness.
